Ari Aster film Midsommar was a polarizing film when it released last summer. While long, to begin with, there is a 171-minute long version, which only played for one weekend in New York last year, and was then available to watch exclusively on Apple TV. Exclusive no more, A24 has announced that they will be releasing the Midsommar director's cut on 4k Blu-ray and standard Blu-ray on July 20th. The disc will come housed in a clothbound, Hårga-yellow slipcase, accompanied by an illustrated 62-page booklet featuring original artworks from the film by Ragnar Persson and a foreword by film icon Martin Scorsese.
